I. BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS
Matthew 7:15

 A. They come dressed as sheep. Satan knows that if he comes to you directly as a wolf, you will not be deceived.
 B. They actually are ravening wolves. He appears before people to cause them to teach false doctrines. They are wolves in sheep's clothing.
 C. They are known by their fruits.
 D. A good tree bears good fruits. Galations 5:19 lists works of sin.

II. THE ACCUSER - CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE

 A. He accuses. Revelation 12:9,10 The great dragon, that old serpent, the Devil, Satan, the accuser of the brethren. If someone comes to you talking to you about the faults of someone - accusing - they have the spirit of the Devil.
 B. He is condemned. Revelation 20:10 The devil deceived them. There was a lady once in one of my churches that who was active in working for Christ. She was deceived by a man that came into the church and started sowing tares.

III. THE CHURCH'S PROMISE OF SURVIVAL
Matthew 16:18 - the gates of hell....

 A. Until the end. Matthew 28:19,20 No matter what attempts are made against the church, it will prevail. It is windy here in Texas, but I was driving on a mountain in Columbia where a sign said "Beware of Wind". You could feel it pressing against the car. Do not be carried off or blown away by the wind.
 B. He said, "I will not leave thee nor forsake thee."

IV. COUNSELS FROM THE BIBLE

 A. Be not carried about.
 B. "Tossed to and fro." Ephesians 4:14
 C. Obey them that have the rule over you. Hebrews 13:17 The elders and deacons may counsel you.
 D. Whose faith follow. Hebrews 13:7 This is first a council to those that rule to be Godly, as they are examples, and for the others to follow them.
 E. Avoid them that engender doubts. Romans 16:17 If anyone comes and causes division, avoid them.
 F. Receive him not into your house. 2 John 9-11 The Bible teaches us to not even invite those that bear false doctrine into your home. God knows we have the tendency to fall into a trap. God says to stay away from them.
 G. We command you.... 2 Thessalonians 3:6,14 Cut your ties with those that deceive. Acts 10:38 God went about doing good. You can be sure that someone coming in and causing trouble is not doing good.

Jesus wil fulfill His promise. "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
