 A. He connected it to the seventy years Daniel 9:2
 B. He prayed... Daniel 9:3,4
  1. He made confession. Daniel 9:5-19
  2. We need to confess to have our prayers answered. 1 John 1:9; Proverbs 28:13; Psalm 66:18.

  2. They culminated in 34 AD. 1 John 1:9;

III. Israel's House Would Be Left Desolate.
 A. God offers repentance and forgiveness now. Matthew 23:38;
 B. If we reject His mercy, we shall suffer desolation as did God's people of old.

Many misinterpret scriptures thinking that Israel will be restored. It is spiritual Israel that will be restored to God. Today we see the contrast of Israel of old that rejected Christ to Israel of today who accept him.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

But we are free to choose, but our decision will make the difference in where we spend eternity. Amos 11:12
