Due to the season, Pastor Roberts presented this Thanksgiving message. There are several examples of times when Israel gave thanks.

• At the dedication of the temple 2 Chronicles 5:13-14
• At the dedication of the completion of the wall in Jerusalem Nehemiah 12:31,40,42,46

God has given us all things Romans 8:32. He makes blessings available to us.

He gives to all life Acts 17:25.

The good and the evil receive breath from God Job 12:10. God can prevent evil. He is giving us a choice to choose Him or Satan.

God gives us health Psalm 103:3.

He has shown us what his plan is Isaiah 8:22, John 17:17.

Contrast the darkness to God's word Psalm 119:105, Psalm 119:130.

We can thank God for being free. He has delivered us from the bondage of sin 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 8:12.

We should always give thanks to God 2 Thessalonians 1:3. .
