God's Faithfulness

Pastor Roberts sermon entitled God's Faithfulness was coordinated with the opening hymn Great Is Thy Faithfulness. This theme is from the first Key Text of Lamentations 3:22-23 .
We were reminded of the example of God's faithfulness to Jacob. Despite Jacob's failings, God had kept his promise ( Genesis 28:11-15, 20-22 ). Later Jacob himself declared is was true when he said that he had crossed the Jordan with only his staff, and had returned with 2 bands of people ( Genesis 32:10 ).
As we are faithful to God, He is faithful to us.
