Bob and Bettye Roberts

Pastor Bob and his wife Bettye have been at the Irving church since 1998. They served as missionaries in many countries in Latin America for over 2 decades. Although they retired several years ago, they cannot stop working for God. They are highly beloved by the church and Pastor Roberts can be counted on to teach from the Bible. The Roberts have 4 childern.

Sylvia Roberts

Syliva retired after working 31 years for a local insurance company in administration, management and human resources. She now does volunteer work for Al-Anon. Sylvia has been an Adventist since 1968 and a member at Irving since 1995. She serves as Assistant Treasurer and Beginner Sabbath School Leader, and enjoys travel, walking and reading.

Luis, Sofie, Karen and Orlando Romero

The Romeros have lived in Irving for many years and are very active in church activities. Luis serves the church as an Elder, and Sophie is the Head Deaconess and an Adult Sabbath School Teacher. Luis works at a car dealership and Sophie at a uniform services company. They enjoy camping and auto mechanics. Karen and Orlando are in the Irving Pathfinder club. Karen attends school at The Academy of Irving.

Stephanie, Ricardo and Ricky Romero

Ricardo, Ricky and Stephanie have been attending Irving for about one year. Ricardo's brother Luis and his family are also members at Irving. He would like to see the Irving church grow spiritually and expand. Ricky is 12 and Stephanie is 11 years old and they often bring Ricardo's nieces and nephews to church. Ricardo is known as a trustworthy person and works as an electrician. He serves the church as a Sabbath School teacher and Pathfinder Leader.

Lindy Rosado

Lindy was born into an Adventist family in Dallas but has lived many years in Ohio and Michigan. She moved back to Dallas in 1996 after graduating from Andrews Academy and became a member of Arlington Adventist Church while attending UTA. She graduated with a BS in social work in December 2001 and became a member in Irving in July 2002. Lindy loves watching basketball, camping and riding bikes. She enjoys working with children and assists in the Primary Sabbath School class.

Rachel Ruiz

Rachel is a housewife and loves to sew and read. She serves the church as the Assistant Leader of Beginners Sabbath School and as a Deaconess. Rachel has 5 children.
