Clyde and Tsi Tsi are from Zimbabwe's capital city of Harare. Clyde is a heavy equipment mechanic and is continuing his college degree by correspondence. Tsi Tsi does computer tech support at a local company. They have been members in Irving for more than 2 years. Clyde serves as a Deacon and Tsi Tsi as Kindergarten Sabbath School Leader. Clyde and Tsi Tsi would like to invite other Zimbabweans to our church.

Mavis Medlin

Mavis grew up in Vassar Michigan but has lived in Texas for 30 years. She was a student missionary to Korea for a year. Her favorite song "We Have This Hope" was first heard at the General Conference session. Mavis has just finished her class work for teaching secondary mathematics. Mavis first came to Irving to help with children's groups. She now serves as the pianist for the worship hour. Her son Charles is also a member in Irving.

Wilma Bellis

Wilma is a long-time member of the Irving church. It was her first church since moving to Texas from Indiana. She is the manager of housekeeping at the Las Colinas Medical Center. Wilma serves the church as Sabbath School Superindent - a position she has done many times. Wilma has three grown boys and 3 step-children.

Cyprian came to Irving to study biochemistry. While going to school he is also working in manufacturing. Cyprian enjoys listineing to music, making friends, soccer, rugby, and traveling.

Cesilia is from El Salvador and came to Irving wanting to find God. She was baptised in Irving on October 7, 2002. Cesilia has two children and works cleaning homes.

Grace Stevens

Grace Stevens is one of Irving's senior members. She says that the Lord brought her to Irving in 1950. She was looking for a small town with lots of big trees and when she saw Shady Grove, she knew that was it. Grace is a retired kingergarten teacher and still loves children. She loves to sing. Grace is 91 years old and in extraordinarily good health, she is unable to attend church, but if you need to be cheered up, go to see her. She enjoys reading and ice cream.

Maria Elena Humes

Maria Elena is from Guatemala City and came to the Irving church by referral from the Irving Spanish church. Maria Elena gave her personal testimony at church on June 29, 2002. She has one daughter and enjoys cooking and crafts. Maria serves as an Assistant Sabbath School Superintendent.

Rachel Ruiz

Faye has been a member at Irving since 1960 and during that time has seen a lot happen. She was a member when the current church building was built. Faye has two sons and a daughter along with three grandchildren. I twisted her arm to get her to say she is single. Faye serves the church as Treasurer, Deaconess and Greeter.
