Elder Bobby Roberts - Biography

Elder Roberts and his wife Bettye have served the Irving church tirelessly since 1998 during which time attendance has more than doubled and plans for expansion are being made.

Known as a man of integrity, Pastor Roberts has much of the Bible memorized. It is difficult to mention a text that he does not know by heart. His skill in teaching to individuals is highly regarded.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, the Roberts served as missionaries to South America for over 25 years. Two of their 4 children were born outside the USA. One of their sons serves as the senior pastor of the Loma Linda University SDA church.

Pastor Bobby Roberts has been presenting seminars and evangelistic series for many years. He has directed campaigns of this sort in many cities of Texas, the U.S. at large and Latin American countries including Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Guatemala, and many others.

Although claiming to have retired, both Bobby and Bettye Roberts are more active and energetic than most people half their age. They unceasingly continue to spread the Good News of Jesus soon return. Sometimes one must wonder if the command of Matthew 28:18-20 won't be accomplished single-handedly by this couple.

The wisdom that Pastor and Mrs. Roberts bring with them is greatly valued and they are in great demand in both English and Spanish churches. The Irving church is willing to share them, but jealously guards them and will not give them up. If you want to hear Pastor Roberts speak, you should come to Irving.
