Walnut-Herb Butter
1 cup water 1 cup walnuts 1-2 cloves garlic
1 T. yeast flakes 1 T. onion flakes 1 T. lemon juice
1 T. parsley flakes ¼ t. thyme 1 t. salt
Liquefy in the blender all the ingredients but the herbs, crumbling them in last.
Add salt gradually, to taste. You may use as is for a spread on bread, or place
the bread in the oven and broil until the spread is crusty. Sprinkle with paprika before serving. Recipe yields about 2 cups. EXCELLENT!
