Cilantro Dressing
(Great with Mexican Food)
1 1/2 cups water 2 T. sesame seeds
3/4 cup fresh cilantro (not packed) 1/2 cup raw cashews
1 med.-lg. garlic clove juice of 2 limes
1/2 tsp. onion powder 3 T. lemon juice (or to taste)
1-1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 cup olive oil
sprinkle of cayenne (opt.) 1 T. Instant Clear Jell (powder)
Blend all ingredients except Clear Jell until smooth. Blend in Jell. Chill. If you don’t have Clear Jell (available in health food store) on hand, use less water, and dressing will be thinner but delicious and usable.
