To develop the habit of fluid replacement, keep a record of water intake
for the next seven days.
Here's the formula for determining your own personal water goal:
The human body requires approximately one ounce of water for each two pounds
of body weight.
Divide your obody weight by two to discover how many ounces of water
you need to drink each day.
This forumula takes into account the amount of fluid already replaced
by food intake and body metabolism.
Example:
1 ounce of water for each 2 lbs of body weight. To find the number of glasses of water you should drink each day, divide the number of ounces you require by the number of ounces in your drinking glass. The following example is based on an eight ounce glass. Example:
Each day I need to drink ________ glasses of water.
